Specification first
Model, diameter, bore, thickness and tooth or segment data are confirmed for the product being ordered. Published catalogue data is identified as catalogue data.
Quality & safety
This page covers product specifications, the standards that may apply and the safety information that matters when a wheel or blade is put on a machine.
Quality information
There is no certificate gallery on this website until the underlying documents have been verified. What follows is what can be confirmed at the point of quotation.
Model, diameter, bore, thickness and tooth or segment data are confirmed for the product being ordered. Published catalogue data is identified as catalogue data.
Available product documents are sent for the specific model. If a document does not exist for a model, it is not implied by a logo on this website.
Questions about production, inspection or batch records are passed to the manufacturing side and answered for the product concerned.
Standards
These are the standards most often referenced for bonded abrasives, diamond products and quality management. Referencing a standard is not the same as holding a third-party certificate.
| Standard or document | What it covers | What this website states |
|---|---|---|
| EN 12413 | Safety requirements for bonded abrasive products | Applicability to the specific product is confirmed on request, together with the available test documentation. |
| EN 13236 | Safety requirements for superabrasive products | Applicability to the specific diamond product is confirmed on request. |
| MPA | Testing and certification for abrasive products | Certificate scope and marking authorisation must be verified before any MPA claim is published. |
| ISO 9001 | Quality management systems | Certificate body, scope, version and validity must be verified before publication. |
A declaration of conformity, a test report and a third-party certificate are three different documents. Ask for the one that matches the question you need answered.

The catalogue references EN 12413, EN 13236, MPA and ISO 9001. The certificate files themselves are not part of the material supplied for this website, and a catalogue reference is not proof of current certification. Once the documents are verified, they can be published here with their scope and validity dates.
Safety information
General guidance for cutting and grinding. Always follow the machine manufacturer and the product marking.
The maximum operating speed is marked on the product. Never run a wheel or blade above that speed, and check it against the machine spindle speed.
Look for cracks, chips, deformation or missing segments. A damaged product is not safe to use, regardless of how much life it appears to have left.
The machine guard and the correct flanges are part of the cutting system. Removing a guard to fit a larger product is not an acceptable workaround.
Eye, hearing and respiratory protection are basic requirements for cutting and grinding. Dust from concrete and metal is a health hazard.
A blade or wheel specified for one material may be unsuitable for another. Confirm the product, the machine and the material together.
Abrasive products are affected by moisture, impact and stacking. Store them flat, dry and protected until use.

Send the model, the standard you are working to and the destination market. We will confirm which documents are available.
